Ulteo OVD (Open Virtual Destkop)
With Open Virtual Desktop (OVD) technology, corporations are able to install and setup an OVD Session Manager and one or several Application Server and then set up access for employees on the network. Employees will then be able to use the applications provided by Open Virtual Desktop within their browsers. Applications can be either Linux or Windows applications and are available seamlessly on user's desktops. Linux applications run on Ulteo Applications Servers while Windows applications run on Terminal Services on Windows servers.

MongoDB (commerical support provided by 10gen)
MongoDB is a high-performance, open source, schema-free document-oriented data store that's easy to deploy, manage and use. It's network accessible, written in C++ and offers the following features :
  • Collection oriented storage - easy storage of object-style data
  • Full index support, including on inner objects
  • Query profiling
  • Replication and fail-over support
  • Efficient storage of binary data including large objects (e.g. videos)
  • Auto-sharding for cloud-level scalability (Q209)
High performance, scalability, and reasonable depth of functionality are the goals for the project. Deep transaction support is not a goal of the system.

Hypertable
Hypertable is a high performance distributed data storage system designed to support applications requiring maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.

Hadoop
The Apache Hadoop project develops open-source software for reliable, scalable, distributed computing, including:
  • Hadoop Core, our flagship sub-project, provides a distributed filesystem (HDFS) and support for the MapReduce distributed computing framework.
  • HBase builds on Hadoop Core to provide a scalable, distributed database.
  • Pig is a high-level data-flow language and execution framework for parallel computation. It is built on top of Hadoop Core.
  • ZooKeeper is a highly available and reliable coordination system. Distributed applications use ZooKeeper to store and mediate updates for critical shared state.
  • Hive is a data warehouse infrastructure built on Hadoop Core that provides data summarization, adhoc querying and analysis of datasets.

RabbitMQ (Commercial support providers)
RabbitMQ is a complete and highly reliable Enterprise Messaging system. The RabbitMQ client libraries and broker daemon can be used together to create an AMQP network, or used individually to bring the benefits of RabbitMQ to established networks.

Razuna (Commercial support providers)
Razuna is a enterprise digital asset management/media asset management with an integrated web content management that delivers and makes management of your digital assets a simple task!

Mahara
Mahara is an open source e-portfolio system with a flexible display framework. Mahara, meaning 'think' or 'thought' in Te Reo Māori, is user centred environment with a permissions framework that enables different views of an e-portfolio to be easily managed. Mahara also features a weblog, resume builder and social networking system, connecting users and creating online learner communities.

Amanda backup
Amanda is the world's most popular Open Source Backup and Archiving software. Amanda allows System Administrators to set up a single backup server to back up multiple hosts to a tape- or disk-based storage system. Amanda uses native archival tools and can back up a large number of workstations and servers running various versions of Linux, Unix (including OpenSolaris), Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows operating systems (Native Win32 client and Samba).

Libre.fm
Libre.fm is a project to help you keep track of what music you like and share that, with your friends, discover new music, and meet new people who share your taste in music. (similar to Last.fm)

hugin
Hugin is a panorama photo stitcher. With hugin you can assemble a mosaic of photographs into a complete immersive panorama, stitch any series of overlapping pictures and much more.

XBMC Media Center
XBMC is an award winning media center application for Linux, Mac OS X, Windows and XBox. The ultimate hub for all your media, XBMC is easy to use, looks slick, and has a large helpful community.

Habari
Habari is next-generation blogging. Habari is being written specifically for modern web hosting environments, and uses modern object-oriented programming techniques. Using these recent but well-established additions to the PHP language allows Habari to make use of PDO, enabling prepared statements for all interactions with the database. This greatly reduces the system's vulnerability to SQL injection attacks. This is just one of many benefits of modern object-oriented techniques.
